This song was inspired, in part, by the balance (or imbalance) between the things that must be done in life (work, bills, etc), the things that one would rather be doing, and the constant vigilance needed to keep that balance in check. The title is also very much an RPM thing: all RPMers are fighting time to produce their albums!
