I can't remember .10cent popcorn, but I remember .25cent gas.

I've been playing music on Saturday mornings with a bunch of people at the Creekside Community Center.
One of the guys is 97 years old, and he really gets my attention when he starts playing the harmonica.
You are right ... "Never Too Late"
Steve (SLKrell) and I have been competing over the same *"IMAGINARY"* girlfriend for years now.
And Yep . . . Steve started it. Well she's mine now, at least until Steve writes the next song. Look for Steve's music here:

One of my other hobbies is watching wildlife in the area. I'm the happiest with a pair of binoculars around my neck and my hiking boots laced up.
Rita and I took these photos over the last few days, near our home.

But the blood that's spilled's become a flood

There is not a trace of RICH MAN'S BLOOD
in the bags that hang beside
the beds of legless soldiers…

They just don't make Saturday Nights like they use to!
I still dig your gift for story-tellin'!
That's going back, The monthly trip to town.Had to stock up on groceries too. hand full of Spanish peanuts for a penny out of the machine.was a good treat too
Good poem, and good reminder that we have been given much
make me shiver just to think about it.
You are Still one of the true originals ,and your sound is smoothing out nicely
It's fun to catch up to you again Verne! You are a great story teller.
You songs are like slide shows... Little movies.
...sometimes the answer is "Yes", and sometimes, "No."
"...tin cup in a water pail..." Been there. Your song is full of very clear pictures. Like it.
Good One Verne
HA! I do the same thing myself.Mostly in the spring so I can remember what mushroom season was like from year to year
Yes sir Verne, I noticed how young folks have to be spending money to have any fun, Times will not ever be so simple again.

I like this one alot Terry...nice sound and story line. The style, I think is what I like.
Would like to see the lyrics, Terry. I like the sound..
This is still one of my favorites!! Such a good idea and performance....
That harmonic player 97 that is really something. I like this one "Banjo Player is a lonely Man." I wish I could play like that...
