After a long summer of doing stuff other than recording it was time to get back on the horse.
Sonically, this isn't much of a departure but I am trying a couple of new things technically.

For those who don't know "huracan" is spanish for hurricane. It's not everyday that we get one up in Philly! It wasn't as bad for me as it was for a lot of people I know...listen and hold on to your seat!!!
Part of an upcoming cd called "Environments…
Cool tune and effects. Pretty close sound effects to being in the eye wall of a hurricane. Wife and I were in the right side eye walls for all 3 hurricanes in 2004 here in Florida. To hear the wild scream like a banshee as it tries to rip your soul from your body is something you never forget. There are no words for it.
This is the new version of one of the tracks from my new project… rerecordings of some of my early solo recordings. I have to admit that the mix of acoustic guitar and Moog-like synth at the beginning of this is (perhaps too) evocative of Kansas…

The original way it was written and originally written for my band, Nail of The Sun. A version showed up on my album demos for "Cryptical Condition" as the song "Transitions".
Maybe when rage against the machine starts playing live again, they will do another show on wallstreet and make it close...in the maintime....this should freeze it up. :)
Recorded for the Songcrafters.org fest, Live in the Living Room. Cover of the Doors classic, recorded live in the - uhh - bedroom. I played my Telecaster on neck pickup through my Danelectro Cool Cat V2 fuzz and my Biyang AD10 analogue delay.
