Love it intro is great, especially when Colleen says we are in Greg's recording studio!! (can I book a few hours?) outstanding song and great vocals all around, sweet harmonies!! I can't believe how good a sound you get recording live at the coffee table...no phones ringing, no dogs barking, no one yelling "turn it down"....ha ha........ I name this band LoDillCo
It's been a long time. Too many distractions and not enough time, or even focus to play lately.
Somehow this song, "Higher Ground" squeaked out from some hidden place.
Lets dig up an old one. In another time & space had to come up with a song with the line 'Solar Radiation and a New Pair of Boots' in it. I came up with this little ditty... Blame Steve Krell !!!!!!
I need an electric geeetar. My weary old Crafter electroacoustic picks up every touch. 'Scuse the solo, I'm only a strummer..
Anyway, the song. Clogging up my brain, had to get it out. Some lasses don't know what they look like, and some lads…
The core of the music is heavily inspired by Joni Mitchell. Its been spinning around for years in my head so hearing this song finally recorded feels good.
I once worked for a retail company in the computer industry. One of my fellow buyers took a job at another company, then returned six months later as a salesman for that company. This is a song of how he might have felt returning to the city…
That guitar really caught me. I like the break into acoustic too.
