This piece is based around a talking patch that I made for the Korg Radias.
Is this the first time I've done something that's not synth-pop?

This started out with the rhythm, and then it took me a month to find a tune to go with it.
I used three synths: my Mopho, Matrix 1000, and a great deal more Roland JP8000 than I originally intended.

i sent a note but i do not see it so here goes again
really,, really nice piece,, i like the way you work the theme,, is it a synth oboe or what? again,, nice piece
This is the first outing for my new Roland JP8000.
What better way to introduce it than with the magnificent supersaw waveforms?

This one is well executed. Good textures, with the subdued rhythm- really nice. I would actually dance to this (with some good vocals). Again- keen sense of rhythm & motion in this track.
In this piece of synthesizer music, I tried to create something a little less like 80's synth pop that my usual stuff. The vocals are my voice, suitably distorted.
Another catchy piece of synth music.
I did this piece some time ago. It was originally called "Virtual Music 4", as it was supposed to be part of a suite.
Hi Daz,
Thanks for your comment!
To get the audio into Ableton I simply soloed each track and recorded it through the iPad's headphone output.
I then mixed the audio in Ableton Live in the usual way.
This is my 12 hour song (written, recorded, mixed, mastered) ... I pined away all day at it while a storm kept me company.
instrumentation:
a man lost his house and sold me his fretless bass for next to nothing. a family friend gave me…

Great stuff!
Always love your refreshing retro beats! Another crystal clear mix!
love the intro riff :) the lead instrument sounds like they could be the tones for a lead singer. Groovy sounds :)

Sounds like the theme to some retro TV show - brilliant work!
Really nice track dude :) I love the chord progressions on this, and nice JX sounds too.. kindof 90's sounding if you ask me. Keep up the good work!
Very cool! Love that bass!
cool mix.
Yes!
This is a fun tune. :) Sounds similar to some of the EBM artists I enjoy, sans-vocals.
nice playing!
That is the most awesome synth I've ever heard.
Good job.
Real hard drums, cool.

This has a really good thud to it! Great synth sounds.
Odd indeed. I couldn't help thinking of a kind of happy-clappy Gary Numan electric android whole listening to this. Liked it a lot!
Thanks!
Great Stuff!
