Midi String Quartet No 1 - Parts I & II

Really nothing more than some voice leading practice. Unfortunately, I had no keyboard or orchestral samples when I did this, so I used Lilypond and TiMidity++ and step programmed it in a text editor. I’ve since bought Cubase and EastWest/QuantumLeap Symphonic Orchestra Silver and Gold, but the computer it runs on needs some work…the tackiness of this midi may inspire to get my computer fixed…

very 18th century classical in sound,,, a very clean sound (when i try to mix multiple tracks of this type of instruments it often seems muddy to me, but this is clear),, are you by chance a Haydn or Mozart fan?,, really nice,, you give me inspiration to try something like this well played R
