But after a couple day’s retrospection, I decided to save the rhythm guitar and drum tracks, added new vox, some bass, and that completely gratuitous lead guitar part, and I think I save it…

It’s been a long hard winter
and I don’t know what to do

Sitting round playing video games
And eating cans of stew

Got my flannel pjs
got my flannel sheets

bundled up between em
to trap my body heat

But I feel like things are startin to come around
I seen this yellow ball big and bright and round

I feel sunshine
all around the world

I hope someday
Spring will be unfurled

Bringing smiles to all of the boys and girls

Soon hop on my skateboard
fall flat on my face

Get up with a great big smile
and get back in the race

walk around with my shorts on
without freezing my butt

take a dip in the neighbor’s pool
and eat some cashew nuts

Sitting out on my deck till nine or ten
Get up in the morning and do it again

I feel sunshine
all around the world

I hope someday
Spring will be unfurled
