i think i have already commented on this in the past,,, but wow,, still very magical work of musical art, a special piece that i reccemend,,this is what classical art is all about!!
interesting,, i wish there was a way to show the scores on AT,, not sure why but i find myself imagining i am reading and following the score as i listen,, love the string tembre,,,
very interesting,, your music offers a nice bridge between classic/romantic and the modern,,, at least as far as i understand it, a very nice piece! you must keep at this full time?
First of my rpm traks,, this year i am going to try to learn a bit about composing for midi orchestra, with that in mind i have began (in jan) to read several books on midi orchestration, orchestration and counterpoint,,, while these will probably…
A bit of improv done yesterday with my newly refurbished fretless guitar. Finally got the midi pickup to track almost right! Part of the sounds were gotten by rubbing a teaspoon on the strings.
one cool thing about piano pieces is that they lend themselves to being rearranged for other instruments, since the piano encompasses the entire range,,, this is a pared down version of my last weeks submission le baiser apres-midi = the afternoon…
i was trying to work on a piece for a shark video of mine, but this is what came out instead,, my piano moments collections are the small musical threads that emerge amongst/while i am working/thinking about other things,,,
first of all, thank you for your kind comments, it's always a pleasure to listen to you music, some time ago I downloaded several pieces of your music and I often listen to them.... very nice
Another Live performance with former band mates in Scartaglen back in 1988 on the NPR show Mountain Stage. This time a piece of Gaelic mouth music followed by 3 reels. Maybe the most complex arrangement of a set of tunes that we ever did.
playing with my eyes closed
rpm #4 2012
from about 2 min on it's a bit hot,, if anyone has some suggestions on how to balance the range, i would appreciate it r
rpm #3,, from a future themed piece to be called "the dark doll house" a place where yellow orange light drifts through soft gray curtains,,far away a child's laugh echos down the stair case,,
