Started out be an innocent little jazzy study in quartal harmony, but the DL4 was still in my signal path and things went downhill from there! Another done with my beloved '58 Stratotone
This is a live cut from an NPR radio broadcast back in 1988 while my Irish Trad group Scartaglen was on one of its first east coast tours. Found recently on a cassette tape. Musically this was one of my favorite periods in the history of the band…
Thanks Mov!!! You know, I was just going to sleep, but took the guitar and played a couple of tones.. and imagined how it could sound with an echo. So I couldn't resist and recorded a bit, adjusted an echo properly and jam for a minute or two. Zap! I just had to do the recording right away. So there it is! :D

Thank you very much Kirk!! You know? Some times I think like I use too much effects..
Thanks a lot Bethan!!
I love your sounds - there's real beauty and echoes of inner peace here.
Beautiful, enchanting...
Nice! Interesting guitar sounds you got on this one with that huge sounding reverb
Takes me down an empty side street in the dark with this beautiful sound on the air. I stand enchanted unable to hear from where it is coming.
Mov!! Thank you my friend!!

Amazing clarity one this one. Packed with emotion and lost in a distant land.
