An entire album on my iPod! :) I wanted to create 80 one-minute tracks; the final results depart wildly from that plan, varying in length from eight seconds to eight minutes.
I created the instrumental tracks for this album exclusively in the Akai Synthstation 25 app. I then imported the SS25 audio into my DAW on the computer and recorded vocals. Only two tracks have external processing on the iPod-created content (reverb on one, vocoder on the other). The lyrics for these songs are eighty-plus haiku which I’d written over the previous year.
