This was one of several songs I recorded in a session on the night of my 29th birthday. I had decided to just start playing and see how many tunes I could write straight through without stopping. My only rule was that these tunes had to be totally fresh without any lyrics, melody, or rhythmic progression in mind before I started recording. I then came back over them with other parts, several of them have other musicians accompanying me on the overdubs.
