This song was made with only two short bird samples. 1) A wild screaming pija and 2)parrot. I made it last night after taking an antihistamine for all the chigger bites. paz.

This tune was made with a single sample of some oropendolas feeding on capotroche.

Instrumentation: fretless bass, tabla, acoustic and distorted acoustic guitar, hang drum samples (courtesy of Sudara), soft synth (AAS Ultra Analog), ambient sample of the jungle (pitched down two octaves) a sprinkle of ebow (from my Sudara files).


Left over audio from "How to Glu" This one is about power and resistence.. which I find to be quite sexy when I think about it. Instrumentation: distorted and clean acoustic guitar, swords, tabla, synth, drum programming, clapping, vocals.

Something I'm working on. I'm a sucker for 5/4 time these days. The biggest issue is the vocals which are sort of a placeholder right now until I re-write and re-record them, or maybe even find someone who can actually sing to lay something down!

After an adventure in re-recording the entire song down a third, we came back to the original, tightened and tuned. Always the self flagellating perfectionist, it still needs a bit more love. Always the pragmatist, it is probably done for now.
