We Made Our Own Hell Right Here

Some think Satan is a unique sentient being and that hell is a physical place where, after death, bad people suffer eternal physical torment. Others, myself included, think Satan is a metaphor for man’s own worst aspects – his Ego if you will.

When I hear people say the devil made someone do that, or when I hear them say that ain’t nothing but the devil, I now think, no, we make our own hell right here on earth.
