Some people say they can see a man in the moon

The falling leaves, dead Everleys are pulling at my heart.
My quest for rationality, I canāt even start.

GONE - My sequester song...
Chain wrapped around the dog park gate
Weeds growing on the school yard lawn
Where has everybody gone
The chairs are stacked
And the stage is dusty
And my strings are getting rusty...

BECAUSE OF YOU
Because of you, I took her picture off the wall
Because of you, I packed her skate board and her clock
Because of you, I stashed it all behind the couch
Because of you, I'll never have to throw it out
I know with you that…
MOTHER'S EYES
I used to chide my mother
She saw the loss in every face
The cemetery. The old folks home
along the way
I used to laugh at Mother
She saw the pain in every eye
Now time has passed
and Mom is gone and here am I

Firstly, W O W ! ! I wonder what inspired this. Reminded me of a neighbor, whose 3 yr old Grandaughter drowned in their pool, several yrs ago. The mother was selected in top 10, for Miss TX pageant. Beautiful Girl. Changed everything for their family. Very Sad. I have to say, You, SIR are very talented !! Writing, descriptive- phrasing, lyricism, vocally, musically, & the oration was Spot On !! I'm Truly Impressed !! I will definitely check out your other work, soon. After I finished listening, I had to clear my throat & wipe my eyes, before trying to think about what I could say. It was moving, touching, interesting, & left me deeply moved. Very Sad, but Very Awesome & Well-Done, in every sense. Thanks, Brother.
I never sing this song the same two times in a row.
The lyric below is pretty close to how I sing it now.
Listening again, this is an awful version of this song...
I have my recording machine working again...I must redo this.

I'm going to agree with your assessment, I've heard you do this song in person dozens of times and this is not one of your better versions. I think I'm going to blame it on the equipment.
Still struggling with this one...
Maybe not possible to make this work in a country song...MY DICK DON'T KNOW SHE'S GONE

I struggled to get this thing completed. I've been sat on it for weeks, finished, debating whether I was really prepared to let it go.
I loved the song when I wrote it, inspired by a wonderful week at the end of September. But the recording…
I love the chord move you do at the end of line three in the verse. The lyric grabs me from, That she hopes will be the very one
That you decide to wear." Because of you voice you use and the sounds it says the object of their desire/affections is David Bowie. My favorite line, among many is, And Blazeyās left her homework on the train." And, Itās never crossed their minds that you might fail."
This song is the result of exchanging "One Line Zingers" with my friend Tom last Saturday while playing a little music.
He challenged me to write a song about him and he would do the same at my expense.
The funiest song wins.

My friend, George Sluizer was making a film DARK BLOOD with River Phoenix and asked me to submit some music to possibly be used in the movie. He didnāt end up using this but he did use four other of my submissions.

So clean. Very interesting...I'm missing some of the words tho. What country are you from?
This really creates a world of it's own...
I like how you fit your voice and sentiment into this barren acoustic landscape.
Love the tender lyric buried in the storm of sound.
It's like the instruments are playing footsie.
Iy's like a meditation...could loop indefinitely
...another sunny song. Great happy groove!
What a sunny song!
Love the rawness of the tracks and the mix. Just wish the vocal was out a bit more.

Great vocal.
Do we ever get past this?
Guitar sounds great!
Really gets the raw sadness. But by the time they tell you it's over it's most likely been over for some time...
