There’s a biker bar about two miles from my house. Guthrie and Rick and I sang there for a few months on Thursday nights. Guthrie and I many a Sunday afternoon and night. It calls itself THE 2500 CLUB and claims to be “The best little biker bar in Texas”. Might be. Who can say?

From her perch behind the bars she watched a guy with the scar who was
checkin’ out the girl in Pool Table World
But she was in pursuit of this big hairy dude
who wouldn’t even loan her the time of day
cause he was busy giving his intentions away
to this quarter poppin’ gal at the juke box, yeah,
she was into Johnny Cash. She was hurtin’ real bad.

So, I sit down at the table with my buddie Rick. We both got an eye on that skinny chick, wipin’ down the bar with her head in the stars, wet as a frog for this 62 hog who just dropped in lookin’ for a man who’d never even given him the time of the day he was busy pissin’ his attentions away on the girl in the corner. She is nobody’s joiner. What a waste of good dick. Good looking lesbian chick

All the pictures on the wall trying
to keep us together. The rides and the falls, the
guts and the glory and the leather, Time to kick
up the bike and start chasing the wind and the
weather. Oh, the girls will come and go but we
will be buddies forever
