I recorded four minutes of bird life in a bamboo patch during my last day in the Amazon. I arranged the string section with single note samples of cellos performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra.

Every single sound source on this tune comes from a cheesy 70's Capitol Records promotional record. A great record, mind you, complete with faked dialogues between engineer and producer. At times, it's messy, so hold onto your faders.

I recorded this short piece on guitar for my friend Andy Hulse's 2003 film "High Lonesome". This part is for a driving scene with no dialogue. Early morning in a southwestern Texas landscape.
