Epic journey. Plenty weird. DIg it. I particularly like the Glass-ian opening in Time. And the bonus track comes to shake you out of the dream. Evil genius.
This was amazing Jeff. You coaxed some excellent sounds out of those old classics ;-) I especially love the end which put me in mind of "Moog meets Philip Glass". Looking forward to space (and wondering if I listened to them the wrong way around!)
I was hesitant about uploading this one. It's really old and I hadn't listened to it in at least 10 years. I remember that at the time of recording it didn't come out the way I wanted but that I was ok (sort of) with the results. The vocals were…
Just to set the record straight I wrote this song before the movie Wall-E came out. If you've watched the movie Wall-E my song is basically along the same lines of how humans have messed up Earth. It's not a happy song if that's what you are…
Written for/about Ben Montgomery. Answering machine messages wondering where he might be are from yours truly and Jason Biehler, his two closest friends who were always trying to track him down.

It's ALL bass, and one ocarina track. And a gong. And a radio broadcast from Saudi Arabia from Desert Storm (the first time we went over). So I guess it's not ALL bass. It's MOSTLY bass.
Awesome! By the way I have added some more music to my profile. In one of your comments you asked if I had any more music that was "out there". I do - lol.
A further march down the road in acl's evolution - and one of the many directions we've been dying to get to... it's, ummm, water-y. (And this song is especially dedicated to J Wentz.)
Sunday aftnoon (11/09/08) took the reso down to the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum and recorded some doodling inside the Serra sculpture Vortex. No effects added, all natural reverb inside the structure.

Nice leisurely guitar jam!
Love the chord progressions!
Wow. Just wow.
I like the layered streamed&strummed guitars here. The two play well off each other. The stereo effects create a sense of space and depth.
Interesting stuff! Will have to check out more

Nice guitar sound! Excellent performance! Lovely polyphonic
Very interesting. I think you're onto something here.. Some of the synth sounds remind me of ELP.
Great Album Jeff! When the final mp3 stopped, my heart jumped!

I've been up for 27 hours and I can say that this is honestly the best thing I've done all day.
A true opus.

The tranquil intro prepares you not for the electronic mayhem that ensues. Nice mellotron.
