I’m fascinated currently with alter’d tunings and I don’t mean the altered open guitar tunings used in a lot of acoustic folk, celtic and instrumental guitar which I have done and they are all great and inspiring. I’m speaking of the alter’d as in microtonal and Just Intonation which I’m just beginning to begin to understand very losely. This piece the guitar was tuned L to H BF#DGAD. I then sharped or flatted stopped notes C E F B and open notes D G A. These raises/lowers were based on Ptolemaic Intonation and comes from the Renaissance time.
