scene 2: Home (b. Alone)

Written for Noel MacDuffie’s dance theater piece, Soul Descending, this scene sees the widow Abagail mourning in her empty home, alone with her grief.

In truth, this one was really more by nay-player Eran Glantz than me. Both performances (the foreground and the background echo-like one) were improvised while watching a rehearsal video of the dancer (Siri Peterson) performing the very emotional scene.
