Written for Noel MacDuffie’s dance theater piece, Soul Descending, this opening scene sees poor William, the last male inhabitant of tiny island community, lost at sea by a sudden storm and his broken body washed upon the shore.

Live flute by Eran Glantz (the sythn ones were temporary that haven’t yet been replaced by the real thing.)
Sounds by Mother Nature.

Why thanks, w of acl! The music from Soul Descending is definitely something I'm terrifically proud of. In fact, I feel that way about the dance theater production as a whole. Sadly, it's also one of my many not-quite-completed works. It needs a bit more work to really be complete, but it is on my overflowing plate of projects to complete. In the meantime, enjoy what I've got! More to come, there's 8 scenes in all.
