‘Selfless’ has to do with an expression of pure love in reflecting your sense of self authentically by overcoming pride to give with generosity and compassion while being open to receiving love in which there is no self.

In simpler terms, it is about giving to receive, because how can you expect to get what you are not giving? You cannot get something for your(self)(unless) giving something in return.
