This tune has been knocking about in various forms for the last decade and I've never given it a name.

I sent the tracks for this tune to a friend of mine who owns a professional studio. I gave him no instructions on how to mix it, as I wanted someone else's take on the music. He created a very dry, intimate mix, focusing more on the acoustic guitars…

This track is off of the third CD. This is an improv recorded one afternoon in my basement recording studio. Recorded with my Huss and Dalton MJC in standard tuning.

A piece of music written during the tumult of grad school applications. The idea is for the saxophone and drums to be in rhythmic opposition for the majority of the written segments. The piece is in 9/8 and centered around minor 7ths and tritones.
