I love MIDI, I love FL Studio, and I'm fond of Cabbage Face. :)

Looped and mangled field recording of my coffee grinder, toaster, and environs. I sneezed during the recording, so of course I had to use it. :)

Another short, cat-inspired MIDI piece. This one is based on Cricket's cute little tippy-toe dance. :)

"Cabbage Face" was one of the "what words can we spell only using A through G?" chord sequences we came up with during the Spice Rack Collective recording sessions at the Mixing House in Milford, MA. I used it kind of a lot when I got back home. :)

This one combines a bunch of things I like: rain, storms, weird keyboard patches, auditory snapshots of a particular time, sleep, and NOAA weather radio. (I developed an affinity for that last one while working third shift alone at Kinko's way…

The words come from a story by Robert Chambers (public domain, and available on Project Gutenberg). Think I recorded the weird noisy guitar part first, then played along on drums, then added the voice.

I like Captain Beefheart, but I'm not good at showing it. :)
