I wrote the main riff at least 25 years ago, and finally got around to recording it. The drum part was recorded at band practice. I got a wild hair and sped it up to about 1.8 speed, liked it, and used it.
“Eggbeater Jesus” is a local artistic landmark. I think I wrote some lyrical snippets about the intersection of art, religion, and charity, but they didn’t make the cut. Maybe someday. :)
