Just how my brain works: nine lines and nine columns in a Sudoku puzzle… Take a six-string guitar and 3/4 of a bass, and that’s nine strings. The number in each box is both the fret number and the number of quarter notes to hold. Puzzle number is the tempo. Of course, do versions before and after the puzzle is solved, to squeeze out double the duration. Record each string/line independently, then mix ’em all together.
