This show was about the various ways we feel grooves - or don't feel them - and the different kinds of grooves we feel in music. Composed for winter percussion - the indoor percussion equivalent of marching band, with a dash of theatrics.

Originally for (unfinished) RPM '08 album. This song and "shortwave" together probably required more component audio tracks than my entire RPM '09 album, which is one reason RPM '08 didn't see completion.

The image of cherry blossoms folding into a gravel footpath is from a poem by Kanoko Okamoto. Originally from RPM '07 album, this version has been reworked a fair bit.
