“Autumn Leaves” is a much-recorded popular song. Originally it was a 1945 French song “Les feuilles mortes” (literally “The Dead Leaves”) with music by Joseph Kosma and lyrics by poet Jacques Prévert.

Since then it was translated into English and now is a Jazz standard with or without the singer.

I used to play this one in my jazz band all the time, so it feels good hearing someone else perform it once as well, hah! Great playing!

I remember learning the changes and melody as a youngster but had never heard the song before. Great playin on a classic jazz standard.
