Untrodden
Leftiness
So, I learned a new trick.
I was kinda bummed ‘cause I thought I needed to buy a software that would control volume and tempo. I mean… I knew LMMS could set the volume and tempo from the start, but I didn’t think it could change things on-the-fly… It can.
Yes, folks, “automation” it’s called. Just about anything LMMS can do, which is just about anything, the automation manager can control to finely tuned intervals. Tell it to lower the volume of individual instruments at specific times; tell it to pan instruments from left to right; raise tempo; increase the echo; you name it…
Of course, it’s just another trick for me to keep learning, and I still have the problem of getting (buying) a decent soundfont, etc, but this is one worry checked off my list, and I’m pretty happy about it.
All that said, it’s “Untrodden” because I didn’t like the way “Uncharted,” “Unaccustomed,” or “Foreign” sounded, and I’m pretty bad at coming up with titles, so… yeah.
