Thanks man
I took (of all things) a harp, added a scream distortion, flanger, unison, and some mastering
I find that taking a recording of a string instrument works well for the base of a distorted guitar instrument if you don't have any good guitar instruments (or an actual guitar)
Unfortunately, I cannot show the video that accompanies this on here, but I may upload it to youtube and link to it at some point. It is an edited video of a run-through of a haunted house.
Playing around with instruments, mainly piano and guitar. I really had fun trying out different distortion on the guitar parts to give it that warm fuzzy feeling.
I kind of envision someone walking through freshly mown grass on a sunny day.

(A remastered version of a Sound 1 Project 3)
I wanted to try something different with this one. The album is so packed with digital-sounding songs that I just needed to mix things up.

Yes the drums are surprisingly realistic-sounding. I really like the quality of the guitar, though I do see what you were saying about the part where you messed up. Nbd - it's a rough demo and you're extremely talented.
From the archives. Traditional Irish slow air. Myself on the Uilleann pipes with synth backing. This was recorded at a concert here in Weston back in I think '92. Originally recorded on an ancient 4 track machine and then transferred to cassette…
Today I gave a quickie demo of Live to my guitar instructor. I started with an empty set and threw some crap at the wall just to show him one of the work flows.
Later, when I brought the thing home I couldn't leave well enough alone and started…
A long meditation/wank.
This weeks guitar lesson we started looking at melodic minor modes. I went home and started practicing scales. Wasn't long before I got stuck on Dorian flat 2. So I fired up the looper and recorded a session.
Funny…
Logic 9 - using samples from "8.5" and "8.8" by Supersilent, as well as some drum sounds from "No One Gives A Hoot About Faux-Ass Nonsense" by Don Caballero
Sweetness - I heard this in class but I enjoyed it much more on smaller speakers that weren't blasting. Very intricate beats and fun to listen to - nice work.
