Hexagrams

Instrumental concept Album. Started Recording in late 2010 when my life was hit by a big loss. Music helped me to keep myself on track. There is sadness,resignation,joy and love in this album. All of those mixed feelings that make up everybody’s life. However a background of mild sadness can be found almost everywhere.
Hope you will enjoy and feel relief as I did.

On the Musical side this is my first experience with Roland VG99. Everything is played with a Guitar, except Bass and occasional Piano lines. Synthesizers are used at a bare minimum. Guitar uses an Hexaphonic pickup and drives Roland VG99. All sounds come from VG99 except when used to drive synths via MIDI. Album recorded, edited, mastered using Ableton Live suite.
