weak by hate and anger
they are not the seeds
if we don’t come together
we will die from this disease

all the people you don’t know

so we can all grow and love

tell me where are our hearts
instead of a whole, it seems to be a part
so many religions yet so much hate
our inhumanity will cost our fate
people could care less if you die
they will turn away when children cry
when children cry, so many die
and so many don’t even care

sometimes i am ashamed
to be in this human race
we use up everything and everyone
those who have the most, will sit and watch
as people starve and suffer and die
sitting on their mountains of money
content in knowing they are safe
