Mary's Garden (acoustic)
Paul Lisney
This was written after an incident in the early morning hours as I was waking. It wasn’t really a dream but the whole thing came to me as the lyrics tell.
MARY’S GARDEN (TIME OF MERCY)
Hail Mary, full of grace
Hail Mary, Guardian of the Faith
I dreamt that we were all flowers in a garden
Each one different with a beauty of its own
And watching over all from above was our Father;
The Sun (Son) sending rays of His Holy Love
The Gardener was sent to tend to the flowers
Riddled with weeds and hidden from the light
The blood from his hands, it purified the soil
And the flowers were nourished with the water from His side
This Time of Mercy soon will end
Our King’s Justice is at hand
To Mary’s garden He will send
Angels to sort the good from bad
The Gardener just like us had a mother
But one so pure and undefiled
She cared for Him as He worked in the garden
And held Him in her arms when He gave up His life
So the Gardener went back home to His Father
Each of His flowers left in His mother’s care
And that’s how we became Mary’s garden
Through her come the graces the Trinity shares
This Time of Mercy soon will end
The great harvest is at hand
Angels will sound the trumpet blast
Will come the Triumph of Two Hearts
This Time of Mercy soon will end
Divine Justice is at hand
The Tribulation will not last
The Era of Peace shall come to pass
Time of Mercy (repeat)
One heart, one mind, one voice
Lift up to God, Rejoice!
From Mary’s garden prayers we send
Hasten the Triumph of the End
