This was the last piece recorded for the album, I wrote it over 10 years ago after the death of my Grandmother. The events of February 22 in my homw town of Christchurch, New Zealand, the earthquake that broke our city, put me in a similary sombre frame of mind, and this piece just seemed to fit.
It is dedicated to the memory of the 120+ people who died when the Canterbury Television building collapsed, it’s impossible to comprehend the blow to the creative community in this city.
