I edited the original because it was a bit long and it didn’t need to be that length, so I chopped the ‘crap’ bits out, they had served their purpose.

Well the streets are always crowded
So I got myself a little place
All my days are spent surviving

but the life here is so discreet
And it seems so dark and dingy

nothing to do but kill some time

So I might not have a future
but at least I’ve got somewhere to sleep
