This is a song I wrote on returning to the place I used to live. I tried to record it in the 'dream pop' style as suggested for the optional theme on this month's REM Challenge.

The last couple of years have been soaked in sadness, numbness and loss, and it's not something I've tried to hide, even when making music. But I've come to realize that it's my own responsibility to lay forth the effort to find new happiness…
