When I first put this track together, it was for a celtic music band. I found out 1., celtic bands have a habit of imploding, and 2., the whistle tracks were frequently in the wrong key. So, I dusted this track off, dusted off an old Yamaha…
Redone with a new arrangement, new (non-uvula-infected) vocals, and a whole host of tweaks... Now 20% more SPARKLY, and what I'd originally intended before my uvula was infected....
Another track from Deranged Lunaticks - this one actually ended up getting recorded first back in the early "oughts" It's been dusted off and spruced-up.

Love the bass sound with the fret and string noise. Makes the song more edgy I think, I don't know if that was your intention, Like the song and sound anyway.
Funny. I looked online for the writer of the song because I thought I heard it on the radio. It must have made an impression all those years ago. I like that one. I think you guys wrote lots of good songs then. Dig more of them up....UNCLE RICH
Hey thanks for sharing your music! I didn't comment on every track, but I listened to the whole thing as I was working around the house. Nice range of material -- I definitely enjoyed it!
The Long Hard Line
( t boudreau)
I locked myself inside in my mind
Slammed the doors and drew the blinds
I searched my soul to see what i'd find
Purged whatever wasn't mine
There comes a time when we find
We must draw that long hard line…

I like the overall groove of this song -- I like how it builds up out of the minimalist vocals on the previous track. You have a pretty good voice.

Piccolo bass? Where did you get it? Fun song.
Alright, I missed this in 2009 - I'm crying over here! Too true!
Nice tune. Must have been fun to play? The pith of Springsteen meets Progressive Rock! Tasty guitar too.
Oh, very tasty! I'm always impressed by the quality of the RPM'ers!
