Hmm. The trigger was to use a random Wikipedia page [via https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random ] – it gave me a 1990s Brazilian film I’d never heard of. Although it sparked a song, the verses that more obviously related to the film got cut… and what remained went a bit darker. That Muse works in mysterious ways.
Sounds largely from Halion synth (inc. bass and xylophone) plus Jessica and Brian vocal synths. For the drums, I added some Brazilian agogo/conga thing; although the South American storyline vanished, I can’t not hear that agogo/conga, so they’ve been kept.
