There's Nothing Left

The Record Every Month Challenge to record one song each month for the whole year isn’t stressful enough, so I upped the ante to be record a single every month. An A Side and a B Side. This song is the A Side for April. I like it… I don’t love it.

I further challenged myself to only record on my iPad this month and to use direct signals only. No speakers other than headphones were involved in this recording. I also limited myself to only gear I don’t usually use. Why did I put all these restrictions on myself? I don’t know, and I don’t care. I am likely going to put false limits on May too. What can you do, right?

The rhythm guitar tracks are my Gibson SG Standard into an Ibanez Tube Screamer into a Vox MV50. The leads are the same except for swapping the Tube Screamer for a Wampler Tumnus.
