I still have a lot of RPM energy left to burn off, so I’m recording old songs and finishing off unfinished ideas and all of that fun stuff.

This song dates back to at least 1994. I have a 24 track studio recording of it somewhere. From 1997-2000 I played it with a band called Prime Meridian. Every time we played it the tempo increased just a tiny bit. The running time in 1997 was about 4:15 or so. When the band broke up it was clocking in at about 3:30. I calmed it down a tad for this one.

The lyrics are a white suburban pretentious college kid’s attempt at analyzing the inner city gang troubles of the early 90’s. I apologize whole heartedly for my younger self.
