This song is about several people I grew up with in the holler. They were quite old and set in their ways. I couple of these people were born in the 1800's
In Surry County, NC, where I'm from, we have a community called Possum Trot, just down the road from Pig Shin. I noted you played my "niaR" (Rain), and I appreciate it, but out of 81 songs, it is the one and only like it, and I know it's not like anything you do. Please don't judge my music and style by that one backward noise mix. I've been checking you out -- Nightmoth, Merry Bear, and Justin Otter Guy are all me. I dig your style. I'm from the heart of Appalachia and I grew up surrounded by musicians who reflect your style and I respect it, highly.

I really respect your talent with poetry and your grasp of your genre. I enjoyed learning about Homer, and I thank you for recording his story. I'm sure he would have appreciated it as well.
Yea, so I'm just another telling you that you write good love songs and superb southern American music.
Keep it up man, I'm a groupie for sure.
Need someone to take loving care of your gear on the road??
I'm applying for the job.
I work cheap and tune to Concert A 440.
I can intonate as well. :)
I'd be more than happy to play piano, guitar, bass, synth, banjo, washboard, tamborine, woodblocks, anything.
Shit, I'd jam a garbage can to jam with you.
An acoustic short song I just made up, I kept it very basic by only using my little Höhner guitar with nylon strings of which I recorded two layers. I hope you will enjoy my song ! Warm regards from Anna.
A Sea Shanty with a bit of Psychedelic seasoning. Guest artist Starry Nightmoth performs the “harmonica” on a Yamaha KB as the song fades out.
37 SAILS
Thirty-seven sails be a full rigged ship
Open up ye hatch and pour ye spirit down…

I really like this one. I was on Ocracoke Island a few months back and heard a song that I like to do called "Blackberry Blossom" done in this style. I've been loving it every since. lol Very good!

Awesome! You've got a great handle on both poetry and that Classic Country sound, vocal-wise and instrumentally. Great job!
