IF HEARTACHES WERE NICKELS
Ron
I did this as a way to practice singing….why I am trying to learn to sing at 64 is a little strange…. I wish I had leaned to sing when I was starting out..but I always played in band with lots of singers and never had to sing much….
any way I recorded this Warren Haynes song with just my guitar and voice…then sent it to my mix master Art :D …he added the very sweet and tasty lead guitar
so I am open for any suggestions on how to sing or maybe I should just shut up and play my guitar!!! so basically me singing bare and naked…no overdubs… so just call me pitchy….I guess like most …I hate the tone and sound of my voice…but I will keep trying…
because my grandfather told me that I could never play guitar because my fingers were to short…so that made me practice that much harder…(I think that may have been his intention)
Sweet guitar work. Moving vocals. Great handle on the Blues formulae. Love the width of the mastering job. An all around excellent job.
That's was perfect....love the vintage vocal effect....guitars primo across the board.
Well done, great J.B. tune.
Not bad... ha! I know someone who was told by a 9th grade teacher that she wasn't as smart as her older sisters, who she had taught. Well, this woman went on to become her HS valedictorian, is now a CPA and has a PhD in Economics. So, I'm thinking that your grandfather was a wise man who knew you well and was just using a lithe psychology on you!
Nice one Ron.
*GOOD SINGING!* I think you have been misleading us all along. *GOOD GAUWD MAN* . . . You got the pipes!
