“So I imagine that the Theocrat of Pan Tang (after a hard day of summoning awesome horrors from other planes to do his bidding) drops in to the gardens of pain to catch some of the Hwamgaarl Cabaret.”

Tonight’s performance features the Bechstein Akoustik Piano (hosted in Kore 2), Little Spacey, and a mastering channel strip of Logic plugins introduced since I watched Steve Horelick’s “Logic 401: Mastering Toolbox” videos from MacPro Video.

The MIDI performance was provided by Elysium with 4 generators playing on a layer configured for the key of A flat minor. I manually turned the generators on and off through the performance. I can’t say I was entirely happy with how it came out but I ran out of time. Some of the worst offences I was able to smooth out using Logics MIDI editing, quantize, and swing features.

Pretty much all of the effects you can hear are LittleSpacey with a ton of automation applied, by hand, as I listened to the piece. There is also a Space Designer reverb in the master channel strip to add presence.

I hope that it drives you, as it has me, totally insane. Go tigers!
