alloy (along with this months issue of MusicTech) got me into the creative possibility of gate and pitch shifting effects so I spent a happy morning playing with Logic’s noise gate, vocal shifter, and ring shifter plugins as well as Sinevibes gateboy and space oscillator plugins.

I used one of Logics dance beat loops for the kick which is also sidechained to some of the plugins. Every other sound is the result of blending, chopping, filtering, and shifting one of the vocal loops that come with Logic. No synths or other samples involved.
