Lyrically it’s about the time I had a ‘proper’ job and how (despite the fact that I liked my immediate team and my role) I could not adapt to the nonsense involved in climbing the greasy pole in a corporate world.

Initially I wasn’t sure about the intro - it sounded to me a bit like a theme tune to a show like ‘Auf Wiedersehen Pet’ but it grew on me and the song developed into a few ‘movements’ along the way.

I play a couple of basses on this - my Sandberg VM4 for the first half and my ‘Bitsa’ Precision on the rest - its strung with D’Addario flat wounds and sounds so FAT! I really like the bass lines that I created on this 😊

Sparkly and catchy! Agree about the basslines - and good to hear your vox again too.
