When it was half written yesterday, I was considering binning it as a throwaway exercise - I do that quite often. But I played the songwriting demo to someone else and, er, apparently I should finish it…
So here it is finished. Hope they don’t think the demo was better…
My wife hasn’t heard it yet. The “today” in the lyric isn’t until Friday (two day’s time). With a bit of luck I’m not in trouble… I’ll do some washing-up and get the hoover out soon.
