This is a song about being rescued. There’s more to it than that, and I’m not sure where this one came from, but it’s a song that is redemptive and not sad. I’m glad that this came out after writing the last one (The Lepers and My Lord) which was so angry (after witnessing some real life religious ugliness). I think this is my response as if to say, “No, this is what God is actually like in my opinion, or maybe how I hope he is.”
