I Lose Control (2nd scratch)
Songs From Nowhere Project
This is the rerecording of “I Lose Control.” The first recording was using my computer’s internal mic, just to get it down. I didn’t want to wait until I got home, so I got a cheap $10 mic at a pawn shop with an adapter and ran it straight in to the comp. A lot of noise from impedance mismatch, but I think it still turned out good. Again, first love song (if that’s what it is) in a long while. Enjoy!
Check your e-mail -- I'm pleased with the results, and I'm sure you will be likewise pleased.
I've downloaded the file and have already removed the floor noise -- no problem. But I also discovered what is called "over peaking" in the file, and I'll fix that as well. I also noted that your file is mono, rather than in stereo. I'm going to fix that too, plus add some reverb. I'll send you the results shortly and I may also take you up on the invite to add tracks to a 2nd mix down of the file. Meanwhile, Keep on Rockin' in the Free World.
I meant to type, " I DIG the guitar and vocals. Nice rhyming! Rock on!" rather that "I DID..." ;)
I think I can remove that "floor noise" (as it's called in the sound editing biz) with my Cool Edit Pro software, if you're interested in that. I did the guitar and vocals. Nice rhyming! Rock on!
