It has a very 70s/80s feeling vibe to it, and I mean that as the highest praise possible. I could genuinely have heard this on the radio in that era.
Excellent. I think this is probably one of the better songs I’ve heard from you! The band sounds very tight on this one, and the vocal performance is top notch.
Sounds like ‘50s dance tune. Especially like the move where it says, “I guess I’ll be on my way…”
Very good and easy listening song. Arrangement and production excellent as usual Steffen!
Nicely produced and arranged. The chorus id really cool.
Upbeat and pleasant song, well produced as usual, Steffen. Nice
Excellent Steffen! Emotional without sounding miserable, as James said.
This is really peppy. Like the snappyness of the midi stuff. Maybe I’ll try some midi guitar.
I really like this song. Especially the vocal. Sad Rock! But…there are places it’s so far back into the mix that I can’t tell what she is saying.
AND…thanks for listening to my music.
Strange how you have such happy music with such sad story.
Atmospheric, great tune, nice singing, well mixed, I really like it. Well done Steffen!
Nice tune Steffen : )
Really good. This is a great arrangement Steffen.
Thanks for listening on commenting, James! And I love it when you tell us all something about the background of your songs. I wish I’d have the time to listen more often. You are one of the last “true song writers” IMO.
I like the way you play the voices against eachother. Very strong melodies.
Also, Thanks for listening to my music and commenting. The song about Jack Hardy is a very “in” joke. I make gentle fun of an American legend. He’s gone on since then. I played it once when I opened for him. We were friends and fans of eachother.
Hey J.L. and Bethan! Thanks for stopping by! :)
Super track Steffen. Very polished, I love Kim’s vocal and the band is excellent.
Hey stoman¡¡¡Regards.Jean Lui
Great stuff, and what a beautiful voice!
Very unique … and psychedelic. All your songs remind me of bands like the Small Faces and the like …
Straight from the late 60s. :)
Sounds like we have the same taste!
Nice, old-school rock, just the way I like it.
I’m 100% sure that way more people like (or even love) your music than you will ever know. Most people who listen to it on the Internet simply don’t Feedback, because - who is not always in a hurry these days?
Anyways, I think you are an extremely talented folk musician, and you write and perform very nice, catchy songs.
How do you do that, coming up with one great tune after the other?
I don’t know the sparser version, but I really like this one!
Not exactly an amateur, huh? :D
Wow, this is a fantastic song, right up my alley!
Great! Cool accent! :)
I don’t want to repeat myself over and over. Kudos for another great song! :)
No matter which song of yours I randomly play - I almost always like it! :)
You know what, I still get that Harry Chapin vibe from your song (and voice). And I LOVE Harry Chapin!
This is another very, very good song, and a perfect performance.
Pretty song! :)
Thanks for listening! :)
Thanks! I’m glad you like it!
It’s actually more abandoned than finished, as I did not want to wait for real drums any longer. But I might revisit it one day and finish it off. :)
