I like the theme music to the PBS/BBC mystery series Midsomer Murders with its use of a Theramin. So much so that it inspired me to purchase a Theramin and try my hand recording my version of it. The first thing I learned is, while the Theramin isn’t hard to figure out how to play, it is extremely hard to play well. This recording took a lot of takes and the Theramin part still isn’t close to sounding professional; but, it was a lot of fun. B3 Theramin; guitar; piano; mandolin; upright bass.
