I thought I’d do one for the Series killer fest on the Songcrafters.org site. My dog Bella decided to join in when I was recording the acoustic and her timing could not have been better……Charlie? well what can I say he was a young man when he started

Well Charlie he pretended to be their lover
But what he really liked to do was smother
He took his Tesco’s bag
His bootlace too
Tied it round their neck and watched them suffer

He killed so many he forgot the number
Too get more enjoyment he got a little rougher

He took them for a ride in his car when dating
with his Tescos bag he would start suffocating
Put his hands around their throat and bash them with his hammer
The blood would fill the bag full
He’d would leave them by the road side
no mess was made in his automoblile
It was always smart and clean
There was never any clues left at all
The detectives were left without a clue
Charlie got away with it for 37 years
He was every womens nightmare
they were all in despair

He killed so many he forgot the number
Too get more enjoyment he took along his dog smother

Finally the detectives got a little smarter
Caught Charlie on the side of the road with a dodgy starter
The judge sentanced him, to a 150 years
He’d be in prison till he was a 195
Charlie died while still behind the bars
But everyone remem bers
